Minestarters Atlas analysis
Summary
Aya Gold & Silver reports high-grade drill exploration results from its Boumadine Project in Morocco, confirming strong continuity along the Boumadine Main Trend. Key intercepts include 392 g/t AgEq over 24.3m and 1,030 g/t AgEq over 4.1m, with bonanza grades up to 2,827 g/t AgEq. The company is aggressively advancing a 360,000m infill and expansion drill program ahead of an updated Feasibility Study, with 145,719m drilled year-to-date.
Reasoning: The drill results report numerous high-grade and bonanza-grade polymetallic intercepts over significant widths, confirming continuity and supporting resource growth at the Boumadine project. The ongoing large-scale infill and expansion drilling program indicates strong commitment and potential for future updates. QA/QC is well-disclosed. The main drawback is the lack of true width determination.
Positive factors
- High-grade silver equivalent intercepts, including bonanza grades up to 2,827 g/t AgEq.
- Significant intercept lengths, with several over 10m and one over 24m.
- Confirmation of high-grade continuity along the Boumadine Main Trend.
- Ongoing infill and expansion drilling program with substantial meters planned (360,000m).
- Comprehensive QA/QC procedures disclosed, including certified lab and QP sign-off.
- Polymetallic nature of mineralization (Au, Ag, Zn, Pb, Cu, Mo) adds value.
Negative factors
- True width remains undetermined for all reported intercepts.
Low confidence — this extraction should be reviewed alongside the original source.

“Aya has implemented a quality control program to comply with best practices in sampling and analysis of drill core and RC chips. For core drilling, all individual samples represent approximately one metre in length of core, which is halved. Half of the core is kept on site for reference, and its counterpart is sent for preparation and assaying to African Laboratory for Mining and Environment (“Afrilab”) in Marrakech, Morocco. For drilling using RC, all individual samples represent 1.0m in length and a representative portion is kept for every metre in some chip trays stored on site. A split samples representing 1/16th, ranging from 2 to 4 kilogram is sent for preparation and assaying to African Laboratory for Mining and Environment (“Afrilab”) in Marrakech, Morocco. All samples are analyzed for silver, copper, iron, lead, zinc, tin, and molybdenum using Aqua regia and finished by atomic absorption spectroscopy (“AAS”). Samples grading above 200 g/t Ag are reanalyzed using fire assaying. Gold is assayed by fire assaying. Standards of different grades and blanks were inserted every 20 samples in addition to the standards, blanks and pulp duplicate inserted by Afrilab.”

Samples grading above 200 g/t Ag are reanalyzed using fire assaying. Gold is assayed by fire assaying. Standards of different grades and blanks were inserted every 20 samples in addition to the standards, blanks and pulp duplicate inserted by Afrilab.”

How Atlas produces this analysis
Minestarters Atlas uses automated extraction to summarize mining announcements, identify reported measurements, and classify supporting evidence. Sentiment reflects the extracted narrative and classification rules; it is an interpretation, not a reported measurement. Evidence quotes and context are provided where available. Missing data, low-confidence results, and review flags indicate limitations. Check the original publisher announcement before relying on an interpretation.
