Minestarters Atlas analysis
Summary
Collective Mining announced high-grade drill results from its Apollo system in Colombia, including the discovery of a new tungsten-enriched subzone with an intercept of 27.35 m at 37.55 g/t AuEq (1.68% WO3, 11.62 g/t Au, 54 g/t Ag, 0.43% Cu). The results extend mineralization and demonstrate significant depth potential, with the company fully funded for its 2026 drill program. Additional intercepts were reported from both the Apollo and San Antonio projects.
Reasoning: Collective Mining announced the discovery of a new high-grade, tungsten-enriched subzone at its Apollo system, with a bonanza intercept of 27.35 m at 37.55 g/t AuEq, significantly extending mineralization and demonstrating depth potential. The company also reported other high-grade intercepts and extensions at Apollo and San Antonio, supported by a fully funded drill program and robust QA/QC.

Classification and evidence
Bonanza Interceptpositive
Exceptionally high-grade zone, well above the deposit-type norm.
Why it applies: The intercept of 27.35 m at 37.55 g/t AuEq (11.62 g/t Au, 1.68% WO3) in hole APC-162 is exceptionally high-grade, well above the deposit-type norm.
Evidence · text
“27.35 m at 37.55 g/t AuEq (1.68% WO3, 11.62 g/t Au, 54 g/t Ag, 0.43% Cu)”
Step-Out Extensionpositive
Mineralization extended beyond the previously known limit.
Why it applies: The discovery of a new tungsten-enriched subzone and the extension of the Apollo breccia to the northwest indicate mineralization extended beyond the previously known limit.

QA/QC Disclosedpositive
Release includes QA/QC disclosure — certified lab, QP sign-off, or stated methods (blanks, standards, duplicates).
Why it applies: The release includes detailed QA/QC disclosure, mentioning certified lab, QP sign-off, and stated methods (blanks, standards, duplicates).
Evidence · text
“The Company utilizes a rigorous, industry-standard QA/QC program. Samples were cut by Company personnel at Collective Mining's core facility in Caldas, Colombia. Diamond drill core was sawed and then sampled in maximum 2-meter intervals, stopping at geological boundaries. Drill hole core diameter is a mix of PQ, HQ and NQ depending on the depth of the drill hole. Core samples have been prepared and analyzed at ALS laboratory facilities in Medellin, Colombia and Lima, Peru for copper, gold and silver assays, and multi-element ICP. ALS is an accredited laboratory which is independent of the Company. Gold assays are obtained by fire assay fusion with AAS finish on a 50g sample (Au-AA24). Any samples returning > 10 g/t were then reanalyzed by fire assay with gravimetric finish on a 50g sample (Au-GRA22). Copper and silver were assayed by inductively Coupled Plasma - Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-AES) and Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) following a 4-acid digestion. Samples were also analyzed for a suite of 48 elements with ME-MS61 plus mercury and a sequential copper leach analysis was completed on each sample with copper greater than 10,000 parts per million. Blanks, duplicates, and certified reference standards are inserted into the sample stream to monitor laboratory performance. Crush rejects and pulps are kept and stored in a secured storage facility for future assay verification. No capping has been applied to sample composites.”
Compositing Transparentpositive
Cut-off grade and internal dilution rules are clearly stated for reported intervals.
Why it applies: The release states that internal and continuous dilution of up to 20% below a cutoff grade of 0.30 g/t Au may be included within the total interval.
Evidence · text
“internal and continuous dilution of up to 20% below a cutoff grade of 0.30 g/t Au may be included within the total interval.”
NI 43-101 Compliantpositive · Story-specific tag
Resource estimate prepared in compliance with NI 43-101 (Canada) — high reporting standard.
Why it applies: The news release explicitly states compliance with National Instrument 43-101 and names a Qualified Person.
Evidence · text
“Qualified Person (QP) and NI43-101 Disclosure David J Reading, Independent Consultant, is the designated Qualified Person for this news release within the meaning of National Instrument 43-101 ("NI 43-101")”
Metal Equivalent Assumptions Disclosedpositive · Story-specific tag
No canonical definition is currently available.
Why it applies: The metal equivalent grade is reported with explicit disclosure of the metal prices and recovery rates used in the calculation.
Evidence · text
“AuEq (g/t) is calculated as follows: (Au (g/t) x 0.97) + (Ag (g/t) x 0.017 x 0.85) + (Cu (%) x 1.14 x 0.95) + (Zn (%) x 0.31 x 0.85) + (WO 3 (%) x 20.74 x 0.72) utilizing metal prices of Au – US$3,000/oz, Ag – US$50/oz, Cu – US$5.0/lb, Zn – US$1.35/lb and WO 3 – US$90.72/lb and recovery rates of 97% for Au, 85% for Ag, 95% for Cu, 85% for Zn and 72% for WO 3 .”
Apparent Width Onlynegative
Interval given as downhole width with no true width or drill orientation — apparent width may overstate true thickness.
Why it applies: The intervals are given as core lengths, and the document states that additional drilling is required to confirm geometry and estimate true width.
Evidence · text
“Composite widths are presented as core lengths. Additional drilling will be required to confirm the geometry of the mineralized zones, with not enough drilling to estimate the true width of the zone.”

Reasoning: Expanded from assay table. 9 g/t silver is below against the default band [500, 200, 100, 30] g/t. Grade×width 18.0 g/t·m is below.
Negative factors
- 9 g/t silver is below the weak threshold (30 g/t) on the default band.
- Scored from rubric bands during table expansion, not from document context.

How Atlas produces this analysis
Minestarters Atlas uses automated extraction to summarize mining announcements, identify reported measurements, and classify supporting evidence. Sentiment reflects the extracted narrative and classification rules; it is an interpretation, not a reported measurement. Evidence quotes and context are provided where available. Missing data, low-confidence results, and review flags indicate limitations. Check the original publisher announcement before relying on an interpretation.
