Summary
Outcrop Silver announced new drill results from its Santa Ana project in Colombia, extending the Aguilar vein system by 450 metres to the south and identifying new high-grade shoots in blind targets. Key intercepts include 0.45 metres grading 3,080 g/t AgEq in DH535 and 0.74 metres grading 1,084 g/t AgEq in DH524. The company continues drilling with three rigs in preparation for a Q1 2026 mineral resource update, with these results significantly expanding the known footprint and reinforcing the project's scalability.
Reasoning: The drill results demonstrate a significant step-out extension of the high-grade Aguilar vein system, with several bonanza-grade intercepts in previously blind targets, substantially expanding the known mineralized footprint and supporting future resource growth. The company also provided detailed QA/QC and QP sign-off, enhancing confidence in the results, though the lack of true width estimates for step-out holes is a minor drawback.
Positive factors
- Significant extension of the Aguilar vein system by 450 metres to the south in blind targets, indicating strong exploration potential.
- Multiple high-grade silver and gold intercepts, including bonanza grades, well above project and peer averages.
- Confirmation of continuity beneath younger cover and identification of potential new high-grade shoots.
- Comprehensive QA/QC procedures disclosed and a Qualified Person has signed off on the technical information.
Negative factors
- True width of intercepts could not be estimated for the step-out holes, which may overstate actual thickness.
Low confidence — this extraction should be reviewed alongside the original source.

Reasoning: The intercept of 118 g/t Ag over 1.12m is a good result, contributing to the overall extension of the vein system, though not as high-grade as other intercepts in the release. It is above the peer average of 86.788 g/t Ag.
Positive factors
- Solid silver grade for the intercept.
- Part of a significant step-out drilling program.
Negative factors
- True width not estimated for step-out holes.

“Outcrop Silver applied its standard protocols for sampling and assay for exploration activities. Core diameter is a mix of HTW and NTW, depending on the drill hole depth. Diamond drill core boxes were photographed, sawed, sampled, and tagged. Samples were bagged, tagged, and packaged for shipment by truck from Santa Ana's core logging facilities in Falan, Colombia to the Actlabs certified sample preparation facility in Medellin, Colombia . ActLabs is an accredited laboratory independent of the Company. HQ-NTW core is sawn with one-half shipped. Samples delivered to Actlabs were AA assayed on Au, Ag, Pb, and Zn at Medellin using 1A2Au, 1A3Au, Multi-elements AR (Ag Cu Pb Zn), and Code 8 methods. Then, samples were sent to Actlabs Canada in Ancaster, Ontario , for ICP multi-elemental analysis under code 1E3. In line with QA/QC best practices, blanks, duplicates, and certified reference materials are inserted into the sample stream at approximately 3 control samples every 20 samples to monitor laboratory performance. A comparison of control samples and their standard deviations indicates acceptable assay accuracy and no detectable contamination. No material QA/QC issues have been identified with respect to sample collection, security, and assaying. The samples are analyzed for gold and silver using a standard fire assay on a 30-gram sample with a gravimetric finish for over-limits. Multi-element geochemistry was determined by ICP-MS using either aqua regia or four acid digestions. Crush rejects, pulps, and the remaining core are stored in a secured facility at Santa Ana for future assay verification.”

Reasoning: The gold grade of 1.63 g/t over 1.04m, while below the project average, adds to the AgEq value and confirms polymetallic mineralization in the splay structure.
Positive factors
- Contributes to the overall polymetallic nature of the intercept.
Negative factors
- Gold grade is below the project average for gold (7.333 g/t).

Reasoning: This included interval of 685 g/t Ag over 0.37m is a bonanza-grade intercept, well above the peer average of 86.788 g/t Ag, and strongly supports the high-grade potential of the Aguilar vein.
Positive factors
- Bonanza-grade silver intercept, significantly above peer average and project average.
- Confirms high-grade mineralization within the broader interval.
Negative factors
- True width not estimated for step-out holes.

QA/QC Disclosedpositive
Release includes QA/QC disclosure — certified lab, QP sign-off, or stated methods (blanks, standards, duplicates).
Why it applies: The release details standard protocols for sampling and assay, including certified labs, blanks, duplicates, and certified reference materials.

Reasoning: The gold grade of 4.12 g/t over 0.37m is a strong result, though below the project average, and significantly boosts the AgEq grade for this bonanza-grade sub-interval in the Aguilar vein.
Positive factors
- Strong gold grade, contributing significantly to the bonanza AgEq value.
- Confirms polymetallic nature of the mineralization.
Negative factors
- Gold grade is below the project average for gold (7.333 g/t).
- True width not estimated for step-out holes.

Reasoning: The gold grade of 5.11 g/t over 0.39m is a strong result, though below the project average, and significantly boosts the AgEq grade for this high-grade sub-interval in the 450m step-out extension.
Positive factors
- Strong gold grade, contributing significantly to the high AgEq value.
- Confirms polymetallic nature of the mineralization as part of a significant step-out.
Negative factors
- Gold grade is below the project average for gold (7.333 g/t).
- True width not estimated for step-out holes.

QA/QC Disclosedpositive

Tags used in scoring
Infill Drillingneutral
Confirmatory drilling to raise resource confidence, not new discovery.
Why it applies: DH535 is part of the resource definition program, demonstrating that the previously known high-grade shoot remains open along strike and at depth.
Evidence · text
“DH532 and DH535 are part of the resource definition program and demonstrate that the previously known high-grade shoot remains open along strike and at depth (Figure 2).”
Apparent Width Onlynegative
Interval given as downhole width with no true width or drill orientation — apparent width may overstate true thickness.
Why it applies: The current knowledge of the step-out in the Aguilar vein does not allow for estimating the true width of the intercepts.
Evidence · text
“The current knowledge of the step-out in the Aguilar vein does not allow for estimating the true width of the intercepts.”
QA/QC Disclosedpositive
Release includes QA/QC disclosure — certified lab, QP sign-off, or stated methods (blanks, standards, duplicates).
Why it applies: The release details standard protocols for sampling and assay, including certified labs, blanks, duplicates, and certified reference materials.

How Atlas produces this analysis
Minestarters Atlas uses automated extraction to summarize mining announcements, identify reported measurements, and classify supporting evidence. Sentiment reflects the extracted narrative and classification rules; it is an interpretation, not a reported measurement. Evidence quotes and context are provided where available. Missing data, low-confidence results, and review flags indicate limitations. Check the original publisher announcement before relying on an interpretation.
