Sierra Nevada Gold is launching a 25,000m Phase 2 drilling program at the As Safra project in Saudi Arabia. The campaign targets copper continuity at the Central Zone, extensions of known mineralisation, and new discoveries across a 12km prospective corridor.
Sun Peak Metals Corp. announced highly encouraging assay results from its maiden 10-hole diamond drill program at the Safra VMS Project in Saudi Arabia. The program successfully intersected significant copper, zinc, gold, silver, and lead mineralization, confirming the extension of the mineralized system at depth and along strike. Notable intercepts include 39.0 meters of 1.38% copper and 0.84% zinc in hole SAF26DD008, and 19.42 meters of 1.17% copper, 2.59% zinc, and 22.35 g/t silver in hole SAF26DD005, with several high-grade sub-intervals. The company plans follow-up drilling to expand the mineralized zones.
Ivanhoe Electric has reported initial drill results from its Umm Ad Dabah prospect in Saudi Arabia, intersecting significant copper and silver mineralization. The discovery was guided by the company's Typhoon TM geophysical technology and includes intercepts exceeding 1.3% copper at depths over 700 meters.
