Sun Peak Metals has acquired seven new exploration licenses in Saudi Arabia, significantly expanding its portfolio to 1,072 km². An independent review by SRK Consulting and initial fieldwork have identified 58 exploration targets for VMS and orogenic gold mineralization.
Sun Peak Metals has identified two new gold and silver-bearing VMS gossan zones at its Halahila Project in Saudi Arabia. Rock-chip and grab samples from these zones returned up to 1.32 g/t gold, 11 g/t silver, 0.64% copper, and 1.05% zinc. The company plans to commence its maiden drill program in the region shortly.
