Electric Metals reported positive results from a simulated ore sorting assessment at the Emily Manganese Deposit. The simulation showed that a drill core dataset averaging 8.2% Mn could be upgraded to 17.5% Mn while recovering 92% of the manganese and rejecting 57% of the material.
Electric Metals (USA) Limited has filed a NI 43-101 Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for the North Star Manganese Project in Minnesota. The PEA reports a robust after-tax NPV(10%) of US$1.39B and an IRR of 43.5%, based on an underground manganese mine and a high-purity manganese sulfate monohydrate (HPMSM) plant.
