Midland Exploration Inc. is commencing a follow-up exploration program at the Caniapisc Au project in James Bay, following recent high-grade gold (up to 14.3 g/t) and zinc grab samples. The company has also map-designated two new projects, Lac Bernard and Viau, in the same region based on regional geophysical and geochemical anomalies.
Midland Exploration has announced a new gold-zinc-silver mineralized system at its Caniapisc Au project in James Bay. Prospecting via boulder grab sampling identified several high-grade metal assemblages, including gold up to 14.3 g/t and zinc up to 4.5%, with geological indicators suggesting skarn-type mineralization.
