Fireweed Metals has launched its 2026 field program, involving approximately 9,500 m of drilling across the Mactung and Macpass projects. The program includes exploration step-outs at Macpass and geotechnical/hydrogeological work at Mactung to support an upcoming Feasibility Study.
Fireweed Metals Corp. has reported significant zinc mineralization from its inaugural 2025 exploration program at the Gayna project in the Northwest Territories, marking the first drilling since the late 1970s. Highlights include 51.22 meters at 4.44% zinc, including 5.17 meters at 10.04% zinc, from hole GR25-013. The program successfully validated a new exploration model at the Intrepid target, with comprehensive QA/QC procedures supporting the results.
